Is there room to mount the ECM above the glove box, under the dash? My daily driver is an old BMW, and that's where they always put their computers. It's out of the way, easy enough to reach for maintenance (just pull the glove box out) and it's not affected by heat. Then, you wouldn't have to make any mods to the kick panel.
