Way back in 1977 I bought a '68 Bonneville with 60-some thousand miles on it from an elderly couple in Florida. It also had the original spare tire, an 8.55-14, in the trunk. Although it looked pretty much identical to the pics here, I recall it being a B.F.Goodrich Silvertown.
I believe it was common for GM to source tires from multiple suppliers, depending on what plant, size, style, etc. There's no way to know for sure which brand tire came on a given car unless you have the original paperwork for it. The tire manufacturer's warranty booklet was included with the owners manual package, since tires were excluded from the vehicle warranty.
