Default Turn signs not working on 78 TA

I was trying to add a switch to my manual transmission for the back up lights and it did not go well. Now the turn signals do not work (Hazards work). I have the wiring diagram and I know they both use the same power source, but I can not locate on the fuse block and they are not getting power. All the fuses are fine, but I have no power at the inst. light fuse. Is that where the turn signals get their power, it is not listed on the diagram. If I jump power directly to the flasher unit, everything works. I really hate to open up the wiring harness and or try and remove the fuse box. Any help would be appreciate.
John
