Default '70 Gauges installed in a June Build '72

I'm converting my later build '72 LeMans to '70 Rally guages and tach. I've read about the wire swap (5 and 7) and of course the sending units. This car has the seat belt warning and I've heard it makes this more difficult. I also have one of the aftermarket tachs and would like to know how to hook it up. It did not come with a harness (used) so I'm considering calling our host to see if I can purchase one.

There was an old post referenced in 2004 but it is not a good link anymore.

Any and all help is appreciated especially if someone has a step by step for a '72

Thanks guys!
