Body Shop Needed, '71 Firebird, So. Calif.
Hi --
My '71 Firebird got hit in late July, I'm having trouble finding a licensed shop to fix it. A lot of body shops now don't work on anything over 10 years old; one shop guy told me a car like mine is just like someone bringing a Ferrari -- it tends to slow down the whole shop, etc. If anyone knows of a licensed shop that works on cars like mine and also works with insurers that's anywhere between Bakersfield and San Diego, please pass along a referral.
