I'm running low 13s, high 12s with a 9.3 compression 400 with XE274 & ported iron heads. Idles at 850 with 10" vacuum. Car's race weight is 3705. Seems to run best when shifted about 5200. Keep in mind I've got a lot of gear and converter.

I'm gonna hit it with a small shot from a plate kit and see what it does. Since the XE cams build cylinder pressure I've got to be careful I don't get into detonation with it.

This cam is better than the 919 in a 400 with less than 10:1 compression. There may be better crowers than the XE274 for a similar engine, but the 919 is too much on the street, imho.
