Smaller clutch pedal was new for 73,as I recall.

In my observation ALL 70-71 standard interior birds came with unplated (non-chrome) pot metal inside door releases.

1972 standard trim got the chrome versions.
Pretty easy part to switch out,just like adding the stainless (shiny) pedal trim.
