68 gto A/C bracket color

I am restoring a 68 gto for concourse judging. There is a bracket that holds and supports the muffler for the a/c. This bracket bolts to the front of the compressor and wrapes around the muffler. Can any one tell me what the proper finish is for this bracket. Muffler is natural. And bracket is ?
