Default Signs that the US government is bankrupt

Sent my Magna Fuel Pump down to their shop in Colorado Springs for a rebuild/repair ......which they did in a 3 week turn around....Thats the good news....

Cost to ship...................35.93 Edmonton to Magna Fuel
Cost to perform work.......52.00

Return freight to Canada...61.10...(wtf UPS ??????)
US entry prep FEE ...........36.50...(Again WTF)
Government exchange rate..6.50...(another WTF)..Rate 0.957...hmmm...looks like a rip off but I;m Canadian so maybe I am stupid

Duty...............................35.93

Called and and informed we cant help you. Used pump...listed on declaration form...rules state no duty or fees...BTW....this is ALL US only charges

Conclusion #1
...UPS charges twice the rate to ship north....must be the headwinds....Will not use them again

Conclusion #2 ....US customs charged this to Magna Fuel who made it my problem...they didnt have the decency to contact me...the owner and shipper....

Conclusion #3...I am pi$$ed

Conclusion #4 ....I have cancelled my winter getaway to San Antonio in 2 weeks and am changing to the Bahamas

as a Canuck...I cant vote in your country, nor do I want to....but I can vote with my money...and I am not spending any more in the US...Parts, vacations etc...my personal F-you

Did I mention I was pi$$ed?
