I use to love to run a few miles every night, usually between 19:00 and 23:00. The cool of the evening is the best time of the day. I'm a zombie before noon so mornings are out of the question. Last year my hips started hurting really bad when walking or standing; running is out of the question. Doctor said it was a compressed nerve in my spine; just my body and spine showing wear-and-tear. I tried therapy and it didn't help. I tried spinal injections and the pain returned in two weeks. I'm a coward when it comes to surgery so here I am; watching runners and wishing for the days when I could run for hours. I'm 63 and I thought I'd be running into my 70's.

regards to all and envying those who still run.
