Just got WS motor 4 my 69 GTO Judge - A friend of mine tells me his uncle is selling
a engine from a old friends pontiac and he knows he hears his uncle say WS and it came out a 1969. He needs some cash and doesnt have time to do anything with it.
So I see the block sure enuff WS stamp legit. I buy the block .
I start talking to the guy and he says his friend got killed in the car and it was a Trans Am. The original block failed in under 1200 miles,so his buddy has the 69 T/A in pontiac service dept for about 7 weeks,gets car back in october 69 . The block stayed in the car for next 40,000 miles ,friend gets in wreck around 74 and dies.
he plans on finding and restoring another 69 t/a in honor to buddy and installing the engine he salvaged. never does .....
