![]() Since you have OEM metal it should be an easy repair. Just keep trimming the metal on your car till you get to good metal, cut your donor metal slightly larger, hold it in place, mark. Make the final cut carefully, so you have a gap about the thickness of a CD. Butt weld, use a copper backing plate to keep from blowing holes while welding. I make copper backing plates out of copper pipe. Just beat it flat with a hammer and cut to size. Very cheap and can be made to any size and shape needed.
