I started looking over some of my logs and about 5 passes were last years, so about 32 passes this year. One motor pass, then I had two or three nitrous passes when I had electrical problems. Rewired the car. Went out and started spraying one system. Then started working on two, then turned the plate on before the fogger and that seemed to make a big d.ifference in how the car left. It was NOT that way at Norwalk. The things we learned after Norwalk I am confident we could have gone a high 8.0 or low teen back then.

Ran 4 passes at Yellow Bullet Nationals in 8.50 index, so I dont really consider that tryn to get in the 7s.

So honestly a little over 20 passes to learn what the motor likes and the chassis likes to tune it in the 7s.

I never nipped a plug all year, never changed the head gaskets. I ran a compression test three times and they were all around 175 lbs, except before this last time out 4 and 6 were 150 and 155 lbs respectively.

I don't consider myself some great nitrous tuner, but I can read a plug and adjust and try different things from there. But I am sure that what Gaby did to the chambers and the motor made the tuning window much larger. Which just makes me look good

Thanks also to my pit biotch Woody, a friend since high school and to Brian, Jeff and Mike for all the help at the track. ECMTTFMF!
