Yeah, I wasn't going to say anything, but I noticed that 9 of the 10 worst states to retire are radical Liberal states, and 9 out of the 10 best states to retire are Conservative.

Illinois must have just barely missed being in the top 10 worst. Sky high taxes, corrupt politicians (many end up in jail), highest murder rate (Chicago) in the nation, toll roads to get anywhere, and they'll tax you for breathing the air.
