Even if your car is stored inside, condensation can still cause rust on metal parts, and corrosion on electrical contacts.
The rust proffing done at the factory was minimal, and there is a lot of unpainted areas.
The Packard 56 connectors are open, unlike the modern stuff.
What I do is use a product called DampRid. It comes in tubs and bags with hangers. Available at Lowes, Home Depot, and most grocery stores.
I place 4/5 tubs under the car, and hand one bag in the trunk and one in the interior.
You would be amazed at how much condensation is captured bt the DampRid.
A lot cheaper than fixing rust.
