Default good luck!

hey, good luck with the driveway job--hope your painting experience turns out better than mine did. i'm sure i've probably already related those. if any of my racers ever get a real paint job(other than what i give em out of a spray can) i definately will have the whole job done by someone else--somwhere else--i don't even want 2 deal with the sanding dust, maskin tape mess or the primer & paint residue all over everything in site. i despise every aspect of anything 2 do with a paint job. but thankfully there are those who love it & take pride in doing it right! i'm interested in your vinyl top. just curious--did the car originally come with 1? or did you have a car earlier with 1? or do you just like the looks of them? i've already mentioned that i like the look on a lot of the old muscle cars. are you going 2 try the install yourself? from what howard told me, its a purty delicate operation! i remember the 70 goat that i mentioned(the 1 that i put a 400 in for the guy who thought his 455 was bad, but just had a bad lifter)was yellow w/a black vinyl top & black int. it was a nice lookin ride. ps just remembered 1 more thing about that goat--cb's were real popular back then in our neck of the woods & this guy was really into em--so he put a huge whip on the back--looked 2 me 2 be at least 8-10 feet long. 2 me it just looked wrong on a nice 455, 70 goat. but think what a dull world it would be if everybody liked exactly the same thing. personally i think henry ford had the rite idea--paint every car black--black is beautiful! but, hey, thats just me
