Default Robbmc

Would just like to compliment Rob at Robbmc for great customer service.:) I installed a new mini starter I purchased over a month ago from them on my '66 Tempest Custom wagon last Sunday afternoon- was a bear getting the old high torque Delco unit out from between Ram Air exhaust pipes and a Milodon oil pan. Anyways, I needed to space the starter drive out a little more from my flexplate. (This is fore and aft, not up and down like you would need shims for) I e-mailed him Sunday -not expecting a response until Monday like with most everyone, and I would not have been upset by that. I went one the computer a couple of hours later on that same day, and he had e-mailed me back saying he would ship me an extra spacer in the mail the next day- free of charge.:) That is great customer service. I am thinking of getting one of these starters for my Olds as well. Great unit. Cranks the engine over easily during all conditions, and even allowed me to bump my inital timing up a couple of degrees for an even smoother idle with my cam.
