Value is what two people will pay or what's offered that's enough to make me think of letting go of one.

I've owned, HO cars, Ra4 cars, and low horsepower cars. When I was young I polished the chrome off of them. Now that takes time away from what I enjoy.

I doubt either of these turn your crank but my 69 G/P and 65 G/P have been the last daily drivers. I've also got a couple GTO's that were daily driven. I mean EVERY day from salt gone to salt down.

Driving them is the fun and it's also the way to pass on the love of these cars to young people. Sitting in a garage or trailer gets absolutely no exposure to the younger generations. When that happens interest dies when interest dies the cars are soon to follow. Points cars are nice to look at but driving them is where it's at. My kids LOVE these cars. They most likely will end up with them and that's the big thing isn't it? Passing on the love of them so future generations will want to be the caretakers?

Seat time rules. If you all you do is polish them in my mind it's a "Hey look at me" thing for the owner.

The car that made me smile the most at Norwalk was a 66 Catalina 2dr that had a 2bbl 389 and plenty of patina. I'm sure that's not valuable to the shiny car crowd but it was definitely driven and that's a huge thing in my opinion.
