Mike, I hate to be the bearer of bad new, but the other guys are sugar coating it. you got taken bad! now, you want to restore it and change the color. that's just throwing good money after bad. digging the hole deeper, so to speak.

It just so happens, I like blue, no A/C, '68's. Let me do you a huge favor and take it off your hands, before it gets worse for you. I'll even give you a little more than what you paid, for your effort so far. That's just the nice guy that I am.


Ok, all kidding aside. congrats, on the purchase and thanks for sharing the price. with all the over inflated numbers floating around, it's good to hear a real world exchange. the car looks really good to me and will be a great candidate for a resto. look forward to following it.

as far as changing the color. imo, going from an unpopular color to a popular '68 color is a wash. going from an available '68 color to a new modern color hurts value.
