When I bought my T/A, I had a former Pontiac event judge evaluate the car, flew cross-country to see it for myself and then bought it. I ordered the PHS later and saw that there was no 8-track player listed on the PHS even though there was one installed. That player came with the correct wiring for a stereo AM/FM radio to connect but was not connected. I recently had the radio serviced and had that verify person the 8-track player and wiring were correct for my year car.
My questions are these: 1.Since it was not listed on the PHS, then my car was not " born " with the player, correct? 2. Did cars have players added at the dealer and would that show up on the window sticker? I paid for the PHS only, not thinking the window sticker may be different. 3.Does it devalue my car to have a " not born with" component installed? Thanks in advance. |
