Default 69 GTO clock removal tips

I want to remove the clock from my 69 GTO. Any tips from anyone that has done it
before. I have the radio, glove box, lighter out of the car. The steering wheel
is laying on the seat and the front plastic trim plate around the radio and lighter is off as well. I believe the clock has three screws. Do these have to come all the way out?
It looks like the clock can be turned a little to unseat it from behind the screws. I read
several places that the dash has to be loosened and moved out from the dash mounting under the windshield. Any ideas, suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. I am
67 years old and not as nimble and flexible as I use to be back in the day.
