Hello All
What type of car are you working on?? Look under your car, see if there is a spoiler/air dam directly under the RADIATOR. If your car is what they call a BOTTOM BREATHER, the Spoiler/Air Dam is VERY, VERY, IMPORTANT. Its job is to cause a high pressure area that allows the air to be directed up and thru the radiator, the low pressure area behind the air dam causes the air from the radiator to return back under the car. I worked in a Pontiac Dealership in the 80's, one of the Mechanics was pulling his hair out trying to get a 84 Firebird to cool, tried everything, replaced everything, finally re-installed the MISSING Air Dam, EVERYTHING WAS COOL after that. Hope this helps, Good Luck, Dusty |
