1964 Firewall pad attaching
The push-in pad retainers from PY are obviously too large for the original holes as others have also found. A read here that someone even filed/trashed the holes with a large drill in order to get the PY retainers to fit. Once installed they look large poking thru and simply deviate way too much from the originals. Hate to install this junk especially after spending all the $$$ trying to detail and stay accurate to the project.
These are just wrong sized---Anyone found a more accurate retainer for a 1964 GTO?
