Dealer practices from the 70's
I was at a cruise night and saw a bone stock '78 Bonney. Had Dealer invoice on the window. I sorta chuckled as I recalled actually applying many cars with "Quaker Koat" . This was on TOP of any last step assembly line black undercoating in wheel wells you often see. It came in 35 Gallon Quaker State Barrels with a air syphon system on top. It was carmel colored and did not completely harden. It was very popular with those not going directly over to get an underbody oil bath which was cheaper, but dripped for days.
