I hate to see dry overspray blowed into a jam, likewise same for paint line where someone has tried to tape out a door jam to keep overspray out. This thread will be very helpful when I start to put hood back on and start trying to line everthing up.

yeah, that's the only way to do it right, unfortunately it's always near impossible to get it back together without scratching or gouging something! - still, it's worth it for the jambs.

I know it's a the wrong forum but most of the guys I know on PY that would care are in the 68/69 forum -- got my wife's 67 finally up to the primer stage Sunday! I've already painted the hood, fenders and the outside of the deck lid, now I've got to get the rest of it sanded and painted.

Woody - yeah, I've made some lifelong friends through this forum. Unfortunately it's also addicting and sucked away all my time when I lived on here. I made the conscious decision to cut it back so I'd spend more time in the garage than trashing all my boxed stuff uploading pictures for guys and at one point I realized I sounded too much like the know-it-all guys always spouting off on here regardless of them being right or not. Cutting back ended up cutting off for a long time. Maybe once I get this 67 finished I'll take a break from the garage for awhile. There's never enough time to get everything done around here!
