Default 1970 Bonneville Long Branch Issues

I installed my starter, then the long branch manifolds from Ram Air Restorations. So far, so good. But it looked like there was not enough clearance if I ever need to drop the starter, so I tried to remove it, and just as I figured it can't get past the manifolds.

Has anyone installed the Long Branch on a 70 (or 69) B body? Are you able to remove an original Delco Starter?

I do not have a problem now, but I don't want a repair nightmare somewhere down the road.
