Default Leap of faith

Sorry for the suspense, After a 2000 mile round trip to get my new toy...I'll try to hold back here as this isn't my usual way but you did ask. Some times in life you take a leap of faith well that's how I see this purchase. The car is 10 times what was advertised!! This car was the previous owners pride and joy since 1977 and he kept everything as original as possible. The paint has never had a touch up as far as I can tell and I've been all over it and it's near perfect! The interior looks like no one has ever sat in it. It seems it was used for some high speed jaunts between Georgia and Sarasota FL. for years which explains the mileage. Also why the aftermarket cruise control was installed and the lack of wear on the interior. The engine vin by all evidence appears to have been miss stamped at the factory I do believe the owner that it has never been out of the car nor ever been apart for that matter. I will sort this out with PHS. as soon as I can. Anyone can restore a car but this is how Pontiac built it and you cannot replicate that no matter how much you spend. Pix to come later!
