Default 69 and newer caliper date code ?

how is the year AND date code read on the calipers...

I am getting ready to have a few sets rebuilt ...and want to only do 69 ones

is the 38 and 29 a julian date ?

what/where do I find the year or is that a partial part number above

similar to the way regulators are stamped with the last few digits ?

thanks guys !
