Question Stupid questions

My glove box light will not turn off.
I have the aftermarket dash cap that is likely the culprit, because the glove box door doesn't reach the plunger switch.
I currently have a washer held in by duct tape over the switch.
Short of making a piece that I would glue or fasten to the door to reach the switch, is there an easy fix for this?

Also, my left turn signal indicator light on the dash is apparently burned out (right one works).
(I've verified that the external turn signal lights operate as they should)
Is there an easy way to reach and replace this bulb without removing the dash?

Annoyingly little things I know, but still annoying.
