Hyd Lifter Break-in
Reading the Comp Cams Hi Intensity lifter install instructions, they say to remove the inners springs on dual spring sets for break in. These are Johnson sourced so they are good quality. I have dual springs, the seat pressure being 112 lbs & open will be around 325 lbs at .480" lift maybe- which is moderate I would think. I have the zinc loaded Comp Cams break in oil so should be in good shape that way.
Is the engine community doing the spring removal? Seems extreme? Should I just shut up and do it?! Thanks! Mark |
