Default 68 GTO disc conversion

I purchased a disc brake kit from right stuff. All stuff mounted on spindles complete. The proportioning valve they give you to mount on the master cylinder requires new lines from the distribution block up. Can I eliminate the distribution block and put the proportioning valve in its place? or do I need to keep the distribution block and pipe new lines from it to the new proportioning valve? I would prefer to just get rid of the distribution block and mount the new proportioning valve in its place. A lot let lines to run.

Thanks in advance.
