Is there a known source for reasonably authentic looking insulation for the 1972 A/C muffler? I have managed to get mine off intact, and can swap it end for end as the end of the insulation is pristine on the bottom, but it seems like there should be a good source for replacement insulation. I also ordered some EPDM insulation just to check it out. It is made by Aeroflex and looks like it is close based on a crappy picture, but you never know. Here's a link to the Aeroflex product. If it is any good, I have a hot wire foam cutter and will be selling sections....
