I did see a '67 at a show once that had the entire modern GTO interior in it, front and rear seats, console and even dash. It also had the matching LS engine and running gear. It looked like the interior fit surprising well although the dash sat back a ways. I do not know what it took to do it, but I am sure it wasn't easy. I thought I had pictures, but can't find them.
