I too got these taillights and returned the first set after the stainless was falling off. After the same thing started happening on the second set I removed the dangerously sharp stainless and reused the original stainless from my factory taillights (it is different with a finished edge that can't cut you). Now I have new taillights that have the original stainless and you can't tell they're not original unless you look for "The Parts Place" stamping. OH...and I no longer have to worry about slicing my fingers while wiping dust from the lenses.
