Default suspension

Currently I have stock suspension, but have a 2 inch lowering spring set from bmr. Their rear upper adjustable arms and lower arms. Car is street strip. Not sure on power. The shop that helps me out with the stuff above my head said that the new set up would be good. My question is should I make the switch to coil overs. I've never owned a vehicle with them so I am not familiar. Or in my application is it just a waste if money.
