I'm not sure the ZP2 code is that unusual on Canadian docs. I've seen several 78-79 Special Edition Canadian docs that have the ZP2 code, yet they had regular interiors (like this 62B example above). I believe many dealers that placed orders for customers (customer ordered) checked off the ZP2 box just to be safe, which sort of told corporate that "we know what we're ordering, don't change it", even if it was standard Trans Am recommended color combo.

Of course, if it were a non-standard, non-recommended color combo (like Solar Gold with a red interior), the ZP2 code would be followed, but I think many dealers simply checked off ZP2 to be safe.

I've never seen ZP2 on a build sheet. If someone has an example, I would love to see it.
