Default Speaker switch

Can you tell me the best way to remove the speaker switch from a 66 Bonneville that's under the dash pad that controls the the speakers from front to rearThe problem I'm having is the front speaker isn't working. If I play with the switch I can get it to work but with in a few minutes it stops.Or is there a way to replace or repair without removing it ?
Thanks
