1963 421 dipstick length
Hi All. I just recently picked up a 1963 421, it's in a black 63 Cat with Ventura buckets and a 4 speed. Runs OK but has an aftermarket dipstick that does not reach the oil after I changed the oil and put in 6 quarts with filter.
Can anyone tell me how long the dipstick should be on a 63 421, with and without A/C? (Not sure how this 421 was originally equipped.) Looking for the length from tip to edge of bell that slides over tube. Thanks, Chris |
