Default Engine Shipping Crate Available for Loan

I have my motor back from Koerner Racing.
I used a plastic engine shipping crate.

I shipped the short block down to Paul in it, and Paul shipped the complete motor back up in it.

I won't be needing it for the next 8 months or so. If someone has a need for it. I'll label it and ship it to you, or your builder if you pay the shipping up front.

When you are done, you can pay to ship the empty back to me, or we can pay it forward and offer it to another member. I do insist that the user be a PY member. And that the timing work for me.

Otherwise if the crate is stuck somewhere and I can't get it back, I'll consider you are then buying it for $200.00 and call it due.

NOTE: The complete motor rubbed on the insides of the plastic at the inside exhaust ports edges of the heads.
- The oil filter adapter outside diameter edge rubbed a small bit also. You could ship without that on.
- On my 67 block the dipstick tube end rubbed a small amount.

I think if you put about 1" of some hard foam under the oil pan this rubbing wouldnt happen as the taper gets wider on the bottom tub as it gets closer to the top.
Lots of room front and back and on top.

It all fit and nothing was bent or damaged.

Just putting this out there. If anyone is interested post here in this thread.
Moderators can move this if it makes sense elsewhere.
