Default "fresh" 1967 big car 400 long block - YF

Price - $1500
Location - Stroudsburg PA

Long story made short - I rebuilt this engine in about 1985. It has been properly started/run, but has less than 5 miles and maybe and hour or so of total run time. It is in my stalled project ('67 GP convertible). All machine work was done by Bontempo Bros shop in Linden, New Jersey. New seals, gaskets, blah blah. The engine is still in the car, and can be run, but will be coming out within a few weeks after the new year.

Block - YF 400, 0.30" over bore. TRW pistons & rings. Stock crank cut 0.010/0.010, Clevite 77 main and rod bearings. Stock bolts. Crane -068 cam, Crane lifters & push rods. New timing chain.

Heads - #143 big car closed chamber small valve heads, 3 angle valve job, stock valves, stock rocker arms with poly-locks.

The early 70s iron manifold and Q-jet in the picture are not included in the above price, but are negotiable. The Black Jack "Alumakote" headers are included if you want them. Left side center tube has been "massaged" to clear the steering box.

The TH400 behind it is spoken for, but I have another LT TH400 that I could include if you need one.

Please send me a PM AND email me through the forum if you are interested. I do not check the forum every day. Thanks.
