You know, you could be right. It's just that I have it painted nicely, have almost everything hooked up properly to it and I'm close to starting the engine. I'd hate to see something happen to it now. A very big regret of mine is not taking out the plug before restoring the manifold. I had no one to help hold the manifold, not that it would have mattered. Thought once bolted on, I could then do it. I could have heated it with my acetylene torches and it would have come right out. Why I didn't do it, I'll never know. I'm going to 2 large swap meets in my area within the next 3 weeks. I'll be looking for a manifold. If I can find one reasonable, I might just buy it. Perhaps make it workable, restore it and change it out at a later date. I'm getting anxious to drive this car. I'm close. Only drove it about 2 miles previously, Carmine.
