Default 1968 GTO dash restoration results

Here are some photos of my dash pad after it was restored. My original plan was to send it out to Just Dashes but they said their lead time was 12 weeks and the quote was $600 plus shipping.

Luckily I still had a business card from a place called Al Knoch Interiors from their exhibit booth at the Barrett-Jackson auction this past January so I gave them a try. They had a nice looking dash for a 1970 GTO and early 70s Trans Am on display and those looked great so I figured they could easily handle a simple 68 non A/C dash pad from my car.

Price was $450 plus shipping and they turned it around in 5 weeks. Not blazing fast but plenty reasonable in my opinion. Quality seems very good. Super happy with the results.

Just thought I would share in case anyone else out there was thinking about sending out their dash for restoration and wanted another vendor option.
