Default 1969 Down Shift Solenoid Connector

I recently installed new wire harness in my 69 GTO and was wondering what to do with the down shift solenoid connector. My car is a manual, so it's not needed, but what did the factory do with it? I checked my original harness, but it was cut off. I can't imagine they would do that on the assembly line. I think they would tuck it in someplace, but where? I don't have a points judged car, just want it to be close to original. Thanks!
