Is this 8 track bracket from a Grand Prix?

Hi Grand Prix guys, I bought an 8 track player for my GTO and this bracket was attached. Seller said it came out of a Grand Prix. Can you tell me if this is the bracket that mounts the player behind the console with the player facing forward?
