He kinda implied that he has little spare time and reliability is everything. Being #1 on the list is of utmost importance and its a big risk to try something major this season.
IMO, at best the CV will be tested in his short off season.

The expression "Living the Dream" is sort of his life right now it seems. Dedicated hard core high end street racer gets paid big dollars and made famous doing something he was forking out big bucks to do while working a job.
It is his job now, hard to beat that.
