Quarter window molding installation tips?
Looking for advice, tips etc for installing the chrome vertical weatherstrip molding that is on the leading edge of the qtr window glass. Its fighting me a bit so I must be doing it wrong.
On my first try....the rubber setting tape tore along the glass edge from the scissor action of the molding being pressed onto the glass. What have you guys used for lubrication when setting glass in a channel? I have used liquid dish soap in the past but later had problems with the glass coming loose so I tried installing it dry this time but was unsuccessful. Any ideas?
