Didn't get too verbal.....yet.
I will try the setting tape on the glass and see if that works better. I put it in the channel the first try....that was a no go.
I saw in the old Fisher Body manuals from the 1950s where it recommends using motor oil for lubrication. Seems like that might dissolve the setting tape a little bit but maybe that is the idea?

I don't want to glue the molding on....I want the original look that comes with using the setting tape.
