I am struggling a bit on the 2.5" vs 3" exhausts. The Pypes literature indicates the 2.5" transverse muffler system can support 600hp, I find this optimistic but have nothing to base it on as I have no idea what that exhauist and muffler can flow from a CFM aspect. I dont think many/any 2.5" systems would support 600hp.
Is there a CFM rating on the Pypes 2.5" transverse race pro muffler system? Isnt around 1000 CFM necessary for 500hp? |
