New 428 turbo build w/ stock manifolds
Getting ready to FINALLY put that 4 bolt 428 together that I've been pondering for years. I am very fortunate that a good friend has donated a pair of used Brog Warner S200SX turbos to me for this build.
Since the turbos are not overly massive, I thought I would save some money on turbo headers and just use a pair of Pontiac D port manifolds (I have 2-3 pairs) to drive the turbos. The coin saved on custom turbo headers can then be redirected towards a quality wastegate and intercooler. I will most likely use my Jack Ferris ported 6X-8 heads but I may use the 87cc Edelbrocks depending on how the numbers work out. For the carb I will use the Quick Fuel 750DP blow thru carb I recently traded for.
Does anybody have pictures of a twin turbo setup using manifolds I can use for a reference?
