jhnichols2,
Regarding spacers: I did see those spacers (#11) on my car, unfortunately I don't have a picture. They are like thick plastic washers....probably 5/8 inch diameter, and I think about 1/4 inch thick. The I.D. was perhaps 3/8 inch. They were glued onto the trim with some sort of caulking or adhesive....kinda glopped on. Regarding the two #18 clips...I'm wondering if both first and second style used those clips? I'll bet the screw holes could be found on the underside of your rockers... 67GTO4SPEED, 1st gen rocker trim edge is folded like a "C" shape on the entire upper edge. So the edge of the rocker trim was right at the door opening where shoes would catch this edge when getting in and out of the car. The second version trim edges at the door opening areas are 90 degree flaps that fasten directly to the body in the door opening with exposed trim screws. It fit tight so no more catching with shoes.
